Beautiful, testing water - my first time on the Test. Everything - and more - than I expected. Two days - 3 weeks apart - courtesy of very kind friends. Patience, observation, appreciation of beauty - quite spiritual. And the fish!

Good place to fish

Have just returned from my first session on this stretch of the river Test. Beautiful surroundings with plenty of fish to be caught. I had a mixed bag of brown & rainbow trout (lots more brownies to the rainbows), a beautiful chub of 5.5lb finished off with a stunning grayling. £25 for a days course fishing you can't go wrong!
