We are a living Christian Community that wants to cheerfully share our faith and bring others to a relationship to the deep mystery that is God:- Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To that end, we hope that we are welcoming to all. We have a service most Sundays. At the moment, as an experiment, we share the first Sunday Service in each month with St Mary's Michelmersh, alternating venues. 10am. We base this upon Common Worship, so the language used is modern. The second Sunday is Family Service at 11am. A relatively informal service again, using modern language. The Third Sunday is Holy Communion using the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer. 10am. The fourth Sunday is Evening Prayer, using the liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer again. 6pm. When there is a fifth Sunday we have a United Benefice Service, which rotates though the churches if the Benefice.
Since the fire of March 2014, we have been able to re-order the church inside, so that usually we have tea and coffee after services. We have a decent heating system and our lighting is good. We encourage lay-involvement in services and occasionally services are lay-led.
We have a house group which usually meets on alternate weeks. Once a month we have a coffee morning in church, usually on a Tuesday. Other social events happen from time to time. We also have a Facebook Page. "St Andrew's Church Timsbury."
We are not to be confused with our big sister, the church at Timsbury, near Bath. (It HAS happened!)
