Good selection of plants. Amazing selection of pots. Nice cafe. Friendly staff.

Like walking into a scene from the league of gentlemen. Really bizarrely outdated, overstaffed and under serviced. The cafe felt like it was decorated as a nursery. 3 servers, 1 chef and 1....manager? But they're only serving tea and cake...oh and toast! Despite there being menus on every table, and a specials board on display. The tea was hot and good. The sugar bowl was dirty (see picture). The jam looked like brown sauce! The cakes seemed okay. There seemed to be a pottery class going on around the corner for about 20, which I guess gave rise to the grand necessity for 5 staff to make teas...

Wonderful cafe. And staff extremely Friendly. Often bring along my elderly Mother for breakfast. And they are so Caring and patient with her.

Plants, Pottery/decoration Inc deco-patch, Ice cream and a cafe as well. Plenty to see and do. I would recommend a visit, especially if you're seeking somewhere a little quieter to gather your thoughts.

A great little nursery with a fantastic cafe and craft centre. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the plants they sell and the crafts they offer. We have been twice now with our kids and will definitely go again. The coffee and cakes from the cafe were great. The owner was able to answer my many questions on the plants they sold, guiding me to ones that would suit our garden best, and he was very patient with our kids whilst doing their footprints. Really lovely chap, makes such a difference!

A lovely crafty morning down at Poppies painting bowls. Staff were both friendly and helpful, explaining the process to us. The coffee and cake afterwards in the cafe were delish. Can't wait to see our bowls once they have been glazed and fired.

Exceptional home grown plants (I should know, I used to own a garden business) run by a very entertaining guy literally- who plays the recorder (no you're not tripping!) Lovely cafe but the big draw are the plants for the quality and expert advice from the owner and staff. Happy to pay a little extra to support a small business and recommend 👌

Grumpy staff, recently potted on plants with poor root development sold in next size up pots. Poor trade discount of only 10 percent. Cheaper to buy bedding plants at Tesco

I bought lots of lovely winter pansies, at half price..my garden is looking so colourful. I also bought a garden pot, but SO disappointed there were no other plants available...
